New Chain Store Openings – US Retail Industry explained by professional Forex trading experts the “ForexSQ” FX trading team.
New Chain Store Openings – US Retail Industry
It’s new store openings planned by the largest U.S. retail and restaurant chains in 2015 that are true indicators of short-term brick-and-mortar retailing health. And since there are plenty of new store openings planned for 2015 both within American borders and in global locations, it can be predicted that the brick-and-mortar retailing will still be alive and growing at the end of 2015.

A considerable amount of attention is given to the 2015 store closings planned by the largest U.S. retail industry chains because hypothetically, those store closings are the predictive indicators of the overall health of brick-and-mortar retailing. But stores closing are more indicative of a lack of brick-and-mortar relevance, which has been ailing and failing for some of the biggest and oldest U.S. retail chains in the past few years.
Early in the year, the retail chain at the top of the 2015 Retail Store Openings list is the world’s largest fast food franchise company, in terms of locations. The U.S. based Subway restaurant chain announced its plans to open 2,500 new Subway locations throughout the world in 2015. Considering that Subway opened its 30,000th store location in 2014, and considering that the world’s largest restaurant franchise by revenue – McDonalds – will only plans to open 1000 new global store locations in 2015, the number of Subway 2015 store openings is clearly significantly aggressive.

Apple, Starbucks, and Walmart are just a few of the U.S. based retail chains that have planned a significant number of new store openings in the 2015 calendar year. Expansion in both domestic and international markets is being planned by the largest U.S. based retail chains, and moving into U.S. markets s part of the expansion plans for my of the world’s largest global retailers as well.

As for store openings planned just within American borders, Dollar General tops the list, with 730 store openings planned in retail locations across the U.S. in the 2015 calendar year. Since Dollar General opened an equal number of store in the U.S. in 2014, there seems to be solid evidence that brick-and-mortar retailing is still thriving for those retailers with relevant offerings and sustainable business models. It is also worth noting that Dollar General is one of the few major U.S. retail chains that are All-American retail chains, with no retail operations outside of U.S. borders.
Even though retail chains like Apple and Starbucks are focusing most of their 2015 store opening efforts in countries outside the U.S., many of the largest global retail chains like H&M will be expanding their chains by opening retail store locations in the U.S. as well.
What follows is a complete and ongoing roundup list of store openings that are planned to happen in the U.S. in the 2015 calendar year.
Information for this store openings list is aggregated from credible and verifiable sources, not from expert or insider speculation or predictions.

The largest U.S. online retailer – Amazon.com – is opening it’s very first brick-and-mortar retail store in 2015. As thousands of RadioShack store closing sales were taking place in February, 2015, it was rumored that Amazon would be taking over some of the RadioShack closed locations to expand its brick-and-mortar footprint even more.
Microsoft is opening a store in Canada, Nordstrom is opening a full sized full-priced store in Puerto Rico.
These are just a few of the world’s largest retailers that have big plans for store openings in both U.S. and global locations in 2015.
