What is London Capital Group or LCG?
London Capital Group Ltd ( LCG ) was founded in 1996 in the United Kingdom, is listed with the Alternative Investment Market (AIM) and is strictly overseen and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) of the UK, which has the reputation of being one of the most stringent financial regulatory agencies in the world. LCG trading began offering capital spreads in 2003 and is one of the leading financial services firms in the UK offering a wide range of investment assets that include Contracts for Difference (CFDs), stocks, indices, major currency pairs, binary options, soft commodities, oil and precious metals.
The LCG trader has won numerous industry awards including “Best Mobile Trading Platform” in 2012 and 2013, as well as “Best CFD Provider of the Year” in 2011 by the Financial Times/Investors Chronicle. Industry surveys concluded recently that the LCG broker is the second biggest CFD and spread betting provider in the UK.
The London Capital Group accepts clients from all over the world, but does not currently accept clients based in the United States; however, corporate, joint and foreign currency accounts can be arranged through a customer service representative or account manager.
The London Capital Group is continually upgrading its platform and website (LCG.com) and currently offers two other sites, one of which is designed specifically for spread betting and the other is only for trading CFDs. The LCGFx site is solely for trading foreign currencies and the LCGMT trading site combines low cost CFD trading on commodities, indices and forex trading.
Traders who use the LCGFx site for trading forex will gain access to all the Electronic Communication Network (ECN) multi-bank platforms that offer the lowest spreads and commissions in the forex industry, as well as London Capital Group share prices. Commissions are calculated based on the asset traded and size of the trade and are charged in the same denomination as used for opening the trading account. A commission Schedule is included on the website and lists dollars, Euros and Sterlings separately.
Traders may have a difficult time discerning the specific differences in these websites but our LCG Review determined there are only slight variances between the sites, which together cover all trading options for its clients.

The LCG Forex broker offers the most popular currency pairs and CFDs in a broad range of markets, as well as professional market analyses, no commissions and low spreads and leverage.
Our LCG Review also concluded that it is one of the most advanced and efficient trading platforms available and clients who use the platform can rest assured their trading activities are overseen and strictly regulated by the FCA and that their trading funds are well protected in segregated bank accounts. The only drawbacks found in the process of this London Capital Group forex Review are the limited hours during which customer support services are available and lack of support for social trading. LCG spread rates could also be lower and its website should be redesigned to make it more user friendly and easier to navigate.
All things considered, however, the London Capital Group forex broker is a reliable platform that is strictly regulated and offers a wide variety of trade-able assets and useful tools and trading features to enhance trading for both novice and experienced traders.
