IG and AxiTrader top Australia CFD broker survey
Investment Trends annual report places IG #1 overall and AxiTrader as the #1 domestic Australian CFD broker.
Research shop Investment Trends has released its annual review of its home CFD market in Australia, and it contains some interesting findings. Mainly, it seems as though Australia has gone mobile — Australian CFD traders had the highest level of smartphone usage among traders of leveraged products in the six countries surveyed by Investment Trends.
But first, market leaders. UK-based spreadbetting specialists IG (38% market share) and CMC Markets (18%) continue to dominate the Australia CFD scene, holding together more than half of the market. They’re followed by FXCM (5%), and the largest Australia-based broker, AxiTrader (4%).
