Since inception in 2010, Betfair spinoff LMAX had prided itself on developing virtually all of its software and technology in-house. After a somewhat slow start and change in senior management, it appears as if LMAX has altered its tech strategy as well, as it continues to build what it calls “Europe’s first MTF for FX trading and CFD instruments”.
LMAX has announced that it has purchased MT4 solutions provider Gold-i’s low latency Gate Bridge, allowing for integration of MT4 brokers and traders into LMAX trading system. The full press release can be seen here.
