FxPro changes logo, drops ‘Forex’ from tagline

ForexSQ has learned that CySEC and FCA regulated retail Forex broker FxPro has initiated a refreshing of its brand with a change in its logo for the 1st time in 10 years. The foremost change to the FxPro logo has been Fxpro drops Forex word from the tagline combined into FxPro’s omnipresent red logo. Fxpro changes logo ‘Trade Forex Like a Pro’ to ‘Trade like a Pro’.

Except making those little letters below ‘FxPro’ look lots more clear with less words there, the change highlights the move toward a much more multi-asset trading branding which numerous leading Forex brokers are projecting just now. FxPro still has the letters ‘FX’ united into its name, but other brokers have in use the multi-asset thing a step further by means of changing not just their logos but even their company names and brands. Current name changes and rebranding for example easyMarkets (formerly easy Forex), Think Markets (formerly ThinkForex), and AvaTrade (formerly AvaFX) occur.

Used for those of you with a keen mind for small details, you’ll also notice that the lettering in the FxPro logo tagline has been changed to a simpler round font, though the company has kept the foremost ‘FxPro’ type style in the more business-like Times New Roman. Round fonts are simpler to load, particularly on mobile devices. Google itself prepared a similar change to its logo back in September, creating it lots more mobile-friendly.
