Internships at Evercore

The Evercore program is a paid internship, with a duration of 6-12 weeks depending on the assignment  The program is open to college juniors and MBA candidates who are working on a degree in Business.

The program is designed to provide both undergraduate and MBA students with experience in mergers and acquisitions, as well as to become strategic advisors.  Evercore hires between 21 and 50 interns each summer.  Interns work on a variety of assignments including: restructuring, recapitalizations, acquisitions, divestitures, partnerships and joint ventures.

Interns are responsible for a variety of tasks including attending client meetings, developing financial models, industry analysis, process management, and execution of transactions. They are challenged to take on as much responsibility as they are comfortable handling. Summer interns work in conjunction with a full-time colleague, but are also given the opportunity to work independently; and, as such; are responsible for a large portion of the team’s analytic work.
