Ariel Communications, a full service, bespoke software development house whose main product is Ariel iTrade – a complete multi-asset FX, CFD and Financial Spread Betting trading platform – has announced that it has entered into a distribution agreement with Singapore-based financial IT specialist IFIS covering Asia.
The IFIS deal will allow UK-based Ariel to both target, and then later support, Asia-based brokers as clients for its iTrade platform.
We view the Ariel-IFIS deal as a further step in FX brokers, and those who provide them technology, putting a major focus on the greater Asia-Pacific region. Japan FX volumes are setting records, as is retail FX trading in China. Asia-Pacific focused firms such as Australia’s AxiTrader are setting all-time highs in volumes.
