Gains were more moderate in other markets, with Japan’s Nikkei Stock Average JP:100000018 +0.39% finishing 0.4% higher, and South Korea’s Kospi KR:SEU +0.61% adding 0.7%, while Singapore’s Straits Times Index SG:STI +0.39% and Australia’s S&P/ASX 200 index AU:XJO +0.37% rose 0.4% apiece.
