The ZEW Indicator of Economic Sentiment for Germany has increased by 16.7 points in February 2013. The indicator now stands at a level of 48.2 points. This is the third increase in a row. As reflected by the latest data on Germanyâ€™s gross domestic product, business activity has cooled down significantly towards the end of 2012. However, the increase of the ZEW Indicator of Economic Sentiment in February shows that the financial market experts expect the economic situation to improve during the next months.
